I was moved to kick the crutches from my crippled friend.

This may be a shock to some of you, but for most of you this will not be news:

I am not cool.

I haven't the foggiest idea about the newest hippest indie rock that the kids are talking about.

I don't play the guitar.

I don't have a new car.

I don't have a fancy I.T. job.

I know there's still hope of being cool even without those things, but here's the real telling factor -- the inbox of my text messages.

Some of you have posted the contents of your inbox, which indicate that you and your friends are doing really cool stuff. Brace yourself to be utterly bored by the contents of my inbox

You are sorely mistaken if you think there is ANYthing cool about IT jobs.

You listen to some cool CDs. I have been listening to several of the same in recent months, which makes me cool as well.

And I think it's cool that your Canes tix are, as far as I can tell from the pics you've posted at your Canes blog, directly across the RBC from mine (which are in Section 128). I'll be out of town for the Thrash, but I promise to wave next time I'm in the building, ok?

You're probably busy anagramming them, but I was wondering if I am the only one who thinks the nonsense words in the word verification feature look dirty.

yeah.... roughly. I sit in 112, row J. I used to sit in 326, but a girl I was dating convinced me to move down to 112 for the 2003-04 season. We've since broken up, and I moved a few rows closer to the ice.

Actually, I won't be able to make it to the Thrashers either. I've got the 24 game plan, and it is in my package, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it for that. I'll wave during the Rangers game, though

You are so cool. I didn't mean that in a general "YOU ARE SO COOL!!" way, but in a "You are SO cool". OK, the way I say it in my head right now is not exactly easy to type in a way that doesn't make me sound retarded. Oh... and I resent that one of my texts made it on the BORING text list. So what if it doesn't quite compare to "Yo! Whazzup baby!"
