another moment of silence

Thurl Ravenscroft, voice of Tony the Tiger has died at the age of 91.  Ravenscroft had prostate cancerIt is with deep sorrow that the staff of Red and black is the new black and red request a moment of silence for yet another fallen friend. Thurl Ravenscroft, the longtime voice of Tony the Tiger has died of prostate cancer at the age of 91. Ravenscroft was also the voice of many Disney characters and sung the famous "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" song.
Cereal bowls across America will never be the same without him.

Sorry, but I thought it was Boris Karloff who sang (and narrated) "Grinch." Am I wrong?

You're right and wrong about Karloff. He was the speaking voice of the Grinch, and he did the narration.
However, it was Ravenscroft who sang the song. I had to double-check it myself before I published that post.
